Nichole Horiuchi, Founder/Designer

Born and raised in Southern California's Orange County, Nichole has been influenced by the beach lifestyle. During college at California State University Long Beach, she studied abroad at the Sorbonne University in Paris for a year.   After graduating she worked as an assistant designer for Billabong Surfwear, and Mark Eisen Collection.   Soon her entrepreneurial spirit took hold and she started Milk and Honey Baby out of her small beachside loft.

About Us

The name Milk and Honey Baby was inspired from " The land of milk and honey", the land of new beginnings - where life prospered and nature flourished. It seemed so appropriate for a children's apparel company, and then it all began. Nichole Horiuchi , creates a collection of children's surf inspired clothing that emphasizes a beach lifestyle.

The collection combines modern silhouettes and vintage surf influences to create designs that embrace beach living.   Designs that represent- soulfulness, beauty, freedom and individuality. A unique brand that helps create precious childhood memories; a baby's first take-me-home outfit, can't leave home without it thermal blankie, or a son's favorite surfer t-shirt he can't wait to put on right out of the dryer. It's moments like these that inspire the company, and make them realize they're doing something right.

Milk and Honey Baby originated in 1996, since then it has grown into an established company with a loyal following. They have opened a signature store in Huntington Beach where local customers can shop. Milk and Honey's mission is to offer fashionable surf inspired clothing for the beach babes and lil'dudes of our lives.

Milk and Honey Baby is available in over 300 boutiques and surf shops throughout the United States and abroad. Keeping it real with grassroots style, Milk and Honey is still manufactured in the USA. Milk and Honey's conscious effort in helping to preserve the environment and firm belief in " what goes around comes around", is reflected in donating a portion of their proceeds to the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches.
